2. What are the race options and Schedules for 2020?
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we unfortunately are unable to hold our race this year in the traditional sense. However, we would love for you to join Kehillat Schechter for a social-distancing race to our fundraising goal!
3. What does a social-distancing race mean, exactly?
By registering a team this year, you are helping us come together and show our Schechter ruach! We want to create a VIRTUAL flood of photos on social media of our community in their Schechter gear, creatively being active during this strange time. The race will be "run" on your personal "path", be it a treadmill, in your backyard, or in your neighborhood. Awards will be given to the team that is the most creative in their approach (while adhering to social distancing guidelines).
4. What can I do to help?
Although this year our race is free, if you are looking for ways to help, you can still crowd-fund on your social media platforms for your team. Online contributions can be made by credit card on the runner’s personalized page found on this
website (Just make sure to tell your sponsors to select your name from the list of runners) or if you choose, you can collect cash and checks and turn them into the school office when school resumes.
7. Do I "run" alone or as a team?
Either! Families are encouraged to participate together, and teams can participate by sharing themes, etc. even though they may be running in different locations. The goal is to HAVE FUN!
