TIPS & TO-DOS
We're all in this together! This page will help our runners prepare for Morasha Runs B'Simcha by offering tips to reach out to sponsors and update your page. To meet your goal, you'll need to use some networking and lots of creativity. Here are some tips for you:

PLAN, AND START EARLY!

Create a plan on how you're going to reach your goal. Create a list of people who you're going to ask for support, what your fundraising page will look like, and what your goal will be. Don't wait until the last minute to start reaching out to your sponsors! Start today and be at the head of the race!

ASK FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO HELP

Enlist as many family and friends to help seek sponsorship on your behalf. Your parents don't need to be your sponsors! Reach out to relatives, neighbors, friends, and coworkers. The more people you contact the better.

BE SPECIFIC

Ensure you and your sponsors are well informed and know all about the charity you are asking their sponsorship for. Be specific. Tell them about Camp Simcha and what it means to you.

BE SOCIAL

The easiest way to reach out to your social network is through social networking and e-mail! Post your page to your Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter pages. E-mail your page out to your contacts. Supporters can donate by credit or by check -- both through the Morasha Runs B'Simcha page.

BE PERSONAL

Tell your story on your personal fundraising webpage. Explain why you're participating and why it's a worthy cause. Have fun with your page by creating a video, posting photos, or telling a story!

TEAM UP

You are also part of a team. Each runner is automatically part of a larger team, consisting of their division. Work together to win the #1 team prize. Create a video together, sell lemonade, etc!

BE PREPARED

A 5K Run around the Morasha Lake is no walk in the park! There will be early-morning runs in Camp to prepare for the event, but start stretching those muscles before July 5th!
