Perform & Raise Money in SpeakEasy Stage’s Fall Benefit,
SpeakEasy's Pop-Up Prohibition Party! Join us on Sunday, November 4th at Carrie Nation Cocktail Club for a Benefit Performance and Party at the swankiest speakeasy in town! THE POP-UP PROHIBITION PARTY, SpeakEasy’s second annual roarin’ twenties bash, is a one-night only celebration, combining the talent of the Boston artists you love with SpeakEasy friends in a wild night of performance and play. Let us whisk you back to the 1920s for an evening of cabaret style performances. Following the show, flappers and fellas will sip on giggle juice and dance the night away to music by Amy Kucharik & Friends With Benefits! Doors open at 6pm, the show begins at 7pm, and the juice joint will be open long into the night. Participants collaborate with local artists who are lending their time and talent to the event.
As a participant, you have the opportunity to perform in the show while supporting SpeakEasy’s work by raising money walk-a-thon style from friends and family. Choose from a range of roles—from star turns to non-speaking characters, there are slots available for a range of skills and comfort levels. The night will include a variety of musical numbers, guest appearances by famous 1920s characters, and perhaps some surprises along the way. Depending on your role, your experience will include opportunities like:
More than just a peek behind the curtain, SpeakEasy's Pop-Up Prohibition Party is a truly immersive opportunity to engage in a soup-to-nuts collaborative process in a fun and supportive environment.
