I am so excited to be participating in the Journey of Hope fundraising effort. As a Board member I know the money raised will be used for helping grieving children and their families through our Bereavement Support Program. 

 

This past year I attended the facilitator training for our support groups.  It was the first time in many years that I confronted my own personal losses I had thought were long resolved.  I had a first hand experience of re-living that grief and a brief glimpse of that impact from an adult perspective. Because I know that I can, I will make a difference today, because no child should have to grieve alone.
