Thank you for supporting me for my 3rd walk with A Mourning Walk. Walking in memory of my mom, Lisa, who I lost 15 years ago. A day that changed my family forever. Anyone who knew her has a countless amount of memories of making you laugh, cooking you a meal that could’ve fed 14 people, surprising you just to brighten your day or doing something crazy that you secretly egged on and still remember today. 20 years together wasn’t long enough, but left the most cherished memories.  While I can’t go back in time to take back my teenage attitude, write down my favorite recipes or call after work to tell her about my day and big milestones, I can keep her memory alive by sharing stories, keeping traditions and keeping her in my heart each day. 
 

Money raised from this event will be used to provide free peer support groups for those suffering the loss of a loved one.
