Please register today and join me 9-7-25 in our 5th annual walk for/with Barbara.  You know I learned so much about grief the last 4 1/2 years. I can't believe she has been gone for almost 5 years. To me it feels like yesterday. Unfortunately, grief never leaves us, you just learn how to manage it, when to block it and when to accept it. I continue Just think a few great times you spent with her, she will always be with you, "Barbara will always be with us". I miss that every day of my life. Knowing you had the love of your life taken from you is so difficult as you could imagine. The push to move forward is so challenging which makes Stephy's place my savior. I continue to go every Wednesday and so does many others. To sit with a an amazing group of friends that are trying to process horrific hurdles in their life. Stephy's place gets us through to the next week. Many of wish everyday was Wednesday.  Grief is a measure of how much you love someone, and a loss is a loss. We learn to work through it, not around it. I often remind myself " What would Barbara want me to do", as I look up and talk to her often. The void our Barbara left behind could never be filled, we try to move forward as she would want us to.  The Money raised from this event will be used to provide free peer support groups for those suffering the loss of a loved one. Life will never be the same, but knowing she is with God eases some pain. She loved her family and friends so much, she was grateful for all that tried to help her. Always remember, Barbara never wanted to leave us, she just didn't know how to stay. I take you everywhere I go, you'll always be with me. Rest in peace my love.
