This team is to honor Michael Katz. We lost him to suicide September 18th, 2021. Mike was a dedicated firefighter, joining the FDNY after losing a family member in the 9/11 attacks. He was an avid traveler, having traveled the world doing different Brazilian Jiu-jitsu camps with the BJJ Globetrotters. He loved sharing his knowledge of BJJ, as he taught at his BJJ academy. Most of all, Mike was a very loving man. He was always so willing to help. He touched so many lives, and is missed by all.
