I am excited to be participating again in the “Mourning Walk”. Money raised from this event will be used to provide free, peer-support groups for those suffering the loss of a loved one. I have personally benefited from Steffy's since losing my husband, Larry, in January of 2022. The loss of your spouse, your partner, is devastating. My group still meets on Wednesday evenings but show full storyno longer at the Red Bank facility. Our meetings were extremely supportive to each of us. They helped in realizing we are all walking through this journey of grief at different stages, at different paces. We decided to meet off-site to continue this support to one another with the skills we learned from our coordinators at Steffy’s. The friendships and comradery have been instrumental in the healing process for me.
