As a medical director of this clinic and specifically the Reproductive Health Department, I am able to bear witness to the amazing and important work this clinic does in caring for under-resourced patients in the New Haven area. This clinic operates off donations, so this fundraiser is SO important to keeping this clinic operating as it does.
I am so excited to be participating in the iANDA! 5K for HAVEN Free Clinic on October 8! All proceeds from this event will support the HAVEN Free Clinic, a student-run clinic that provides comprehensive primary care services to members of the New Haven community free-of-charge.
I would greatly appreciate your help sponsoring me in this event. All proceeds from this event will support HAVEN Free Clinic, a non-profit organization that partners with Yale University to provide comprehensive primary care services to members of the New Haven community free-of-charge.
We are a student-run clinic that has provided comprehensive primary care at no cost to uninsured patients in New Haven for the past 21 years. In 2022 alone, we cared for over 1,000 of our community members. The annual 5K race, our signature fundraising event, typically raises 70% of our total annual departmental budget.
