Last year I trained for my first 5K. I lost motivation almost by the minute. But I kept on going because I was running for the memory of my amazing cousin Jacob and his whole family. I was running for my mom, and for all those who fight every day. 

 

Please take a second to look at Jacob's story. He was a kid here to change the world for the better. He did a ton in his first twenty years, and I'm happy to do anything I can to keep his mission up and running.

I am excited to be participating in the Jacob Butze Memorial Foundation 5K and 1 Mile Run. Money raised from this event will be used for scholarships, mentoring, and support for high school and college students to honor Jacob's love for learning and teaching others.
