We are excited to announce our partnership with  the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) for this year's Run for Clean Energy 5k race. CELI trains and empowers the next generation of energy leaders and, like Green Muslims, is a volunteer-run organization.

 

This year’s race will be held on Sunday, June 4th at Fletcher’s Cove (4940 Canal Road, Washington, D.C. 20007). The race coincides with the Islamic holy month of Ramadan when Muslims around the world fast (abstaining from many things, including food and water) from sun up to sundown. While fasting can make it difficult to run a 5k, we are hoping to make it through the race with support from our interfaith community!
