In 2003 , I was diagnosed with my first bout of ovarian cancer.  This August I will be celebrating my 10th year since starting my journey with this disease.  Many things have changed throughout the years and there have been many ups and downs, but the best thing that came out of this is the incredible support and love from my family, friends and all the new friends I have made on this journey.  Those of you who know me well, know that I am in this battle 100% and will continue to do anything I need to do for myself or others to make this journey an easier ride.  And this walk represents just one piece that I can do annually by helping to raise funds that will stay local and be used for continued research for gynecologic cancers.  I hope you can join me on Sunday, May 7 and if you can't any donation you can make will help us get to our goal.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
