I am so excited to be participating in Dogtoberfest! Funds raised this year will support Friends of Upland Animal Shelter's Extended Care, Foster, Transfer, and Animal Advocacy Programs that care for newborn, abandoned, and hard-to-place at Upland Animal Shelter. 

 

I love Friends of Upland Animal Shelter! They were kind enough to rescue me from a high kill shelter. I was found with a gash on my head and front leg, and they took care of me until I was able to find my forever home. 

 

I was scared and terrified, but they loved on me and I soon became the silly guy I am today, which charmed my hoomans and was my ticket home. They sent me home with a cute hand-made blanket, as well as a bag full of toys and goodies. Friends isn't just a shelter, it's a place where homeless pets learn what it's like to be loved before finding our forever homes. They love us until we find out hoomans, no matter how long it takes.
