TEAM STORY
Our Ollie Mike, to know him is to love him. The brightest joy he radiates every single day. On May 3rd we will be running our third 5K with an organization so close to my heart. When Oliver was just two weeks old I joined my first NECPAD meeting. I instantly knew that advocacy would quickly become a large part of our journey. Thanks to newborn screening, our amazing team of doctors at Mass General and access to our low protein formula and medically necessary foods, Oliver is able to lead a typical life. Our mission at NECPAD is to help people never have to make a choice between day to day responsibilities and remaining on diet. We are a full non-for profit made up of solely volunteers. We help those in our community so that their metabolic disease can just remain a small part of their beautiful journey through life. Thank you for supporting our team and this wonderful community I am so thankful to be a part of. And to my sweet boy, we love you to the airport and back, as you would say!

RAISING MONEY FOR...
We, the New England Connection for PKU and Allied Disorders (NECPAD), will engage the Boston-area Phenylketonuria (PKU) and local running communities in a 5k walk/run. Our aim is to bring these communities together, spread PKU awareness and raise funds for NECPAD to continue to support our community, and ongoing PKU related research.
