As many of you know, my dad passed at age 29 from brain cancer when I was just 7 years old. This is the first year I get to run in honor of him and The Brad Kaminsky Foundation, which was started by my aunt after his passing. The foundation means so much to me, helping raising funds for Duke (where my dad got treatment), UCLA, and other critical hospitals for research to end this horrible disease. Everything I do, I do with my dad in the back of my mind- from running marathons, to being the counselor and mother I am today- because he never got the chance. I try to live my life to the fullest in honor of him. Please help me reach my fundraising goal for TBKF, and brain tumor research, always for everyone that didn't get the chance, and are still fighting today. 

 

I am so excited to be participating in the 18th Annual Heroes of Hope Race. Money raised from this event will fund Los Angeles Childhood and Adult brain tumor and cancer research.
