This race is dear to my heart. My mother, Cindy Epstein, lost her battle to brain cancer on November 13, 2013. I never imagined I would be turning 50 without her by my side. I think about and miss her daily.
 
In lieu of birthday gits, I am asking people to please donate to the heroes of hope race for brain tumor research. Money raised from this event will fund Los Angeles Childhood and Adult brain tumor and cancer research.
