My name is Alli.  I am 12 years old.  I have been participating in this event since I was only 2 months old.  My daddy had 2 different brain tumors removed before I was even born.  When I was 6 weeks old my Daddy was told he had brain cancer.  When I was a baby, only 7 months old, my Daddy sadly passed away from brain cancer.  I never got to meet my Daddy but Mom says I am just like him.  My Mom says that Daddy was super nice, and friendly, smart and very funny.  I miss my Daddy every day and sometimes I miss him so much that it makes me cry. I wish he was around to watch me grow up and so we could do fun things together.  No matter what, I will always love my Daddy very much.

 

This event is special to me because I do it in memory of my Daddy.  I also do it because hopefully this can help with the research for finding the cure for cancer so that no other people have to deal with the sad loss that I have.
