Hi my name is Isabel. Here is a background of my journey. I was diagnosed with inoperable defuse (Oligodendroglioma Grade 2) at 4 years old. Now I am 24 years old. I did have two surgeries, they removed some of the tumor and the hippocampus ,amygdala for seizure control. It didn’t end up being successful because they realized the seizures get triggered all over the tumor deep in the brain. After my second surgery I did 15 months of chemotherapy. Now I’m 19 years Brain cancer survivor.
