I am so excited to be participating in Studio Bleu's 11th Annual iDance4aCURE Dance Marathon. This will be my 8th year in a row dancing.  All proceeds from this event directly fund Childhood Cancer Research at Children's National Health System in Washington DC.

 

Did you know that...

- Only 4% of the NCI budget is designated to childhood cancer research

- Every day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer

- 12% of children diagnosed with cancer do not survive

- 60% of children who do survive suffer late effects such as infertility, heart failure, and secondary cancers.

This year I’ll be honoring and dancing in memory of my close friend Caroline. She passed away last spring from cancer. I Miss her everyday and hope you can support her and every other kid who lost their life or is battling this horrible disease. She was a true inspiration to anyone who knew her and her incredible light and smile will stay with me and inspire me forever.
