For the past couple of years, I have had the privilege of volunteering as a Counselor with the Long Island Crisis Center. Working on the hotlines, I’ve witnessed firsthand the critical impact our work has on individuals in need.
I also understand losing someone to suicide as our family lost one of our own to suicide.
I’m thrilled to be part of our upcoming event, “Let’s Walk, Let’s Talk: Stepping Together to Prevent Suicide.” This walk is a crucial effort to raise awareness about suicide prevention in our community.
