For the past couple of years, I have had the privilege of volunteering as a Counselor with the Long Island Crisis Center. Working on the hotlines, I’ve witnessed firsthand the critical impact our work has on individuals in need. I also understand losing someone to suicide as our family lost one of our own to suicide. I’m thrilled to be part of our upcoming event, “Let’s show full storyWalk, Let’s Talk: Stepping Together to Prevent Suicide.” This walk is a crucial effort to raise awareness about suicide prevention in our community.
