Hello everyone, Its that time a year again that we honor our son Liam! As you may know on March 29th, 2014 we gave birth to our sleeping angel Liam Lowell. He was absolutely perfect to us. We spent the day holding him, taking pictures, praying for him and baptizing him in a little ceremony. After a full autopsy, the doctors were unable to determine as to why he had passed. We believe that he is perfect in every way. This has been one of the hardest moments in our lives. As a result of this experience and learning about the lack of knowledge in the medical field, we are participating in the 4th annual "Let's Not Be Still" Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Run/Walk. We are helping to raise money to help fund awareness, research, education and prevention programs through the Star Legacy Foundation. It is estimated that 1 in 4 women will suffer a miscarriage and of those losses 1/3rd have no known cause. It is also said that 1 in 200 births result in a stillborn. It is hard to believe that 2/3rds of those stillborn are unexplained and doctors believe because of the lack of research and knowledge most of these could have been prevented. These statistics are way to high and I feel the need to help change these. We have started a team in honor of Liam called team Liam Lowell Sabelko.
