Hi y'all :), Just recently I have begun to make a conscious effort to be the Woman, Wife, Mother and friend I am capable of. My first step in this journey is taking the time to improve my wellness through my diet and pushing myself to be strong physically. I have been making amazing new healthy meals and making a point to "move" my body on a regular basis. I have been running for the past couple months and the physical changes I am experiencing are motivating. Little did I know I was ACTUALLY training! Training for a 5k with my husband by my side. I am finally learning that I am worth every bit of being my best! I want to challenge myself to be the BEST ME! I have been blessed with a Husband who put himself second for our Country and continues to put himself second for our Family. I have a Daughter whom has the drive to follow in her Father's footsteps and join the Military in just a few short months.

I am so excited to be participating in the McHenry County Patriot Run 5k!  Money raised from this event will be used for the Veterans in McHenry County.
