For the second year I'm really happy to let loose my inner self and perform in SpeakEasy Stage's Pop-Up Prohibition Party on November 4th beginning at 6 o'clock at Carrie Nation Cocktail Club. 

 

No -- I'm not singing or dancing.....but I have a speaking part that opens the show!  The rest of the cast are equally crazy members of the Board and a few of SpeakEasy's actors/actresses.

 

I'm asking you to 'sponsor' me, just as you would if I was running a marathon -- but since I won't do that, here's your chance to give me a boost.  

 

And that boost is important to me because it funds SpeakEasy's commitment to support local artists and to produce recent thought- and conversation-provoking plays that feature diverse casts both on-stage and behind the scenes. 

 

My goal is to raise $3,000 in total for SpeakEasy.  I've seeded that goal by my $500 contribution to be a Juice Joint Johnny Sponsor of the Party, there's $2,500 to go.  

 

In addition to sponsoring my participation, I hope you will buy a ticket to attend our travel back to the 1920's for an evening of cabaret with swanky characters, bathtub gin and wild adventures -- it will be great fun!
