On September 13th I will be taking part in an event called Sleep out for Cold Weather Care. During the sleep out I will spend 15 hours outdoors learning the harsh realities of our homeless neighbors. Money raised from the event will be used to fund services provided by Cold Weather Care to help homeless individuals regain control of their lives by moving them out of homelessness and toward self sufficiency. Your donation of $30 would be $2 per hour for the 15 hours I will be spending out in the elements overnight experiencing first hand for a short period of time what it is like to live outside with no place to go for the night. My goal is to raise $500. A donation of any amount brings me closer to my goal!
