I wanted to let you know how happy I am to take part in the 11th Annual Sojourner Truth Walk: Honoring Youth Leaders. Shaun Townsen is the reason I am walking. Every day, he leads by being himself and standing up for what's right, rather than trying to fit in with what other people think is cool.
All money raised for this event will help Camp Sojourner, Girls' Leadership Camp provide life changing leadership programs for girls/youth ages 8-18. Now more than ever, our young people and families need positive connection, creative outlets, and a way to share their leadership and vision.
Funds raised through the Sojourner Truth Walk will be used to provide scholarships for girls/youth to go to camp, and to help fund our free year-round creative arts, food justice, and leadership activities.
