I am so excited to be walking in the 12th Annual Sojourner Truth Walk. Money raised for this walk will support Camp Sojourner, a nonprofit leadership program for Philadelphia girls/youth ages 8-18, which offers year-round leadership development including mentoring, service projects, creative arts, nature hikes, college tours, and a one-week overnight camp (girlsleadershipcamp.org). Camp show full storySojourner, Girls’ Leadership Camp helps Philadelphia girls/youth, regardless of their economic background, have the opportunity to take charge of their own lives and be agents of positive change in their communities.
