In 2024, we hit a milestone number since the concept of the event! A $1 MILLION raised to date! How exciting it was to achieve that.
100% of your donations go directly to the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research and awareness.
My sister, Tammy Greschner is the founder of the MN Brain Tumor 5K in honor of Dave Melde who lost his fight with Glioblastoma in 2009. Dave was her long time partner and my husbands best friend of 40 + years. She turned her grief into a positive plan of action to raise funding for much needed research to help others. One person’s vision CAN make a difference. This 5k is a piece of Dave’s legacy.
Dave fought hard to win his battle. He was a kind, caring man who helped everyone. He is forever remembered in our hearts. Dave wanted to help other people with Brain tumors by raising money for the Musella Foundation.
I know Dave is looking down and saying Cool, Cool! He would be so proud of what Tammy started to honor his wishes of helping others.
