This year I celebrated 7 years tumor free! I look forward to walking the course with my entire family this year in celebration and remembrance. In January of 2018 I was diagnosed with a suspected meningioma in my right frontal lobe. February 21st, 2018 I had a successful craniotomy with complete tumor resection of a grade 1 meningioma. I went back to my surgeon to have the plates and screws show full storyremoved after a few years due to chronic discomfort. It's been quite a journey, but I am grateful for every minute of it. Now I am doing my part to raise awareness and find research to help others.
