WHAT is the BPY Mini Golf Classic?
BPY’s Annual Mini Golf Classic is a fun, end-of-year celebration for the entire BPY community that combines important messages about community, tzedakah, mitzvot, health and incredible school spirit. Families work together to raise money for BPY’s Annual Campaign.
WHY does BPY hold a Mini Golf Classic​? BPY is more than just a school, we are a community and a family. What better way to celebrate the culmination of an incredible year of learning & friendship than by joining together to support our school. The Mini Golf Classic benefits BPY’s Annual Campaign which provides essential support for all aspects of our school’s operations, including curricular enhancements, learning support, professional development, investments in technology, and our scholarship fund. Philanthropic support of BPY is essential to the continued success of our exceptional programming and represents an investment in the future of our community. The Mini Golf Classic is also an educational vehicle to show our children the importance of community support for educational institutions. WHEN is the Mini Golf Classic? The event will be held on Sunday, June 9 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm. WHERE is the Mini Golf Classic​? The Mini Golf Classic will be held at Ben Porat Yosef 243 E Frisch Court Paramus, NJ 07652.
The success of the Mini Golf Classic depends on the enthusiastic participation of every BPY family. All school families are invited and encouraged to put up a fundraising page HERE. Set your fundraising goal and customize your page with your own message or story, your own picture, or even your own video. Get as creative as you can! Feel free to get a head start and set up your page today!
My page is up, what next? Share the link to your page with family members, friends, and colleagues and ask for their support for this cause that is important to you. A key message of the Mini Golf Classic is that each of us (supporting community and responsibility) can do our own small part & together we can have a BIG impact in ensuring the accessibility of a BPY education for every member of our school community. Are there other ways to raise funds for the Mini Golf Classic​? YES! Here are some additional ways families can help raise funds: 1) Special Events - In past years, many families have also created their own events or programs to raise funds. The great thing about these projects is seeing how kids have gotten involved. For example, BPY families have held car washes, lemonade stands, cookie sales, challah sales, exercise classes, and more – all to show their love for our school and to raise money for our Annual Campaign through the Mini Golf Classic. Simply add the proceeds from your event(s) to your walkathon page. You can also announce your fundraising event in the Divre Yosef 2) Sponsorship – Any BPY family can become a corporate sponsor for the event. Any sponsorship you secure can be credited to your page. You can find information regarding corporate sponsorship HERE. You can also become a family sponsor for a donation of $360 or more to the Annual Campaign. Your family sponsorship donation can be added to your own page or spread among different pages. 3) Make your own donation(s) – Many BPY families use the Mini Golf Classic as an opportunity to show their appreciation and support for one another and for members of our staff. You can make your own donation on your own page or make donations on other family’s pages and include your own messages of support or gratitude. What if I need help or have a question? Just ask!
