I am so excited to be participating in "Cycle For Superwoman" and supporting MAT, an organization committed to educating doctors from a range of specialties to recognize the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.
Ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cause of cancer death in women in the U.S., and this disease causes more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system. Sadly, Ovarian cancer begins with silent, ‘whispering symptoms’ that often go unnoticed or undiagnosed until it’s late stage and/or too difficult to fight the disease.
Money raised from this event will be used to train doctors from a range of specializations to identify the 'whispering' symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. And to digitize the MAT curriculum to reach and educate more doctors globally. As a result, we hope to change the Ovarian Cancer odds on early diagnosis throughout our community.

*Enable any physician to meet the woman where she meets the disease
*Strive to get in front of the diagnosis and towards prevention by effectively educating physicians on symptoms, connection of other cancers, family history, genetics
*How to move to rapid treatment if necessary
Signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer and where a woman may end up:
*Trouble eating / feeling full quickly / constipation / abdominal bloating (gastroenterologist)
*Frequent urination (urologist)
*Abdominal rashes (dermatologist)
*Lower back pain (chiropractor)
*Pain during sex or changes in period (gynecologist)
*Fatigue / weight loss (Internist)
