I am excited to be participating in the West Side Catholic Center's Pancake Run. In my time as a JV at West Side Catholic Center, I've seen firsthand the incredible effect WSCC has on our clients and even our volunteers and staff. Our work ranges from the meeting the most basic needs, like food, showers, and clothing, to more complicated ones like case management, substance abuse counseling, workforce development training, and arts programming designed to alleviate the effects of trauma. However, it's also incredible to see how the community that being at WSCC creates. From our incredible volunteers who come every week to sort clothes, serve meals, and answer the phones, to our clients who make friendships and share resources with one another every day, WSCC is a unique and special place unlike any other social services agency I've worked with.
Over 6,000 men, women, and children in the Greater Cleveland area seek one or more of our services annually, and all services are provided free of charge. Your donation helps make that possible.
The proceeds generated by the Annual Pancake Run support the programs and services at the West Side Catholic Center, where more than 6,000 men, women, and children in the Greater Cleveland area seek one or more services annually. All services provided at WSCC are free of charge to clients.
