The person reading this should know what this team means to me before doing anything.

 

When I joined the crew team, I was solitary. Staying just at the edge of the group listening to music, hiding in my headphones. Slowly but surely I started to open up to who I found to be the most considerate, and kind people I know.

 

Throughout the past three years, I have had trouble with my own mental health, and depression. Sometimes it got almost dire. Though through it all my team helped. Not even by talking, but just by being there.

 

There is a well known phrase “Blood is thicker than water.” That is not the original phrase though. The original actually meant the opposite. The bonds you make matter just as much, if not more than family.

 

I will always have a place in both my heart, and my mind for the bonds I made. So much so that they no longer feel like they’re only teammates, they are more like family.
