TEAM OHEL is a proud charity partner with NYC Marathon, 5 Boro Bike Tour, Cycle for Unity, Generosity Series 5k, NYC Triathlon, and Over the Edge (a rappelling event over a 20 story building). The involvement, commitment to physical training, and comitment to fundraising efforts of our participants supports children and adults with disabilities, foster children, and children in our 3 domestic violence shelters.
We direct the funds to Camp Scholarships or the Simcha Fund, which funds life cycle events that our not covered by government funding for children in foster care and/or in our domestic violence shelters. TEAM OHEL recognizes the importance and value of our participant’s time, family and friends that support the fundraising efforts for our necessary programs.
OHEL Children’s Home & Family Services exists to protect and strengthen individuals and families of all abilities, by meeting their diverse social service needs through programs of award-winning excellence. Consistently rated #1 in foster care in NYC, OHEL supersedes all professional and regulatory standards. Leveraging OHEL’s experience and reputation, we seek to proactively identify community social challenges by pioneering new programs that elevate the lives of individuals and families every day.
