TIPS FOR RAISING $1800 IN 8 EASY STEPS

We are excited you have chosen to fundraise for Durga Tree International! We’d like to show you just how simple it can be to raise money for the cause.

Are you ambitious and have set a higher goal for yourself than $1800? Great! Simply adjust the minimum donation amount you’re asking of each potential donor and/or increase the number of people you’re going to ask.

1. Donate to yourself. It all begins with you! 2. Ask 4 family members to donate $50.00 each. 3. Ask 25 friends (&other family members) to donate $20 each. 4. Ask 10 co-workers to donate $25 each. 5. Ask your boss for a company contribution of $50. 6. Ask 10 neighbors to donate $20 each.	$50 $200 $500 $250 $50 $200

Add just 4 more steps to reach $1800!

Now that you’ve raised $1250. Here are four extra easy steps to raise an additional $550.

7. Ask 10 local businesses you frequent to donate $25 each. 8. Ask 10 members of an organization to which you belong to donate $20 each. 9. Ask your doctors, lawyers, etc. to donate $25 each	$250 $200 $100

Use social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Send an e-blast and share what you are doing. Include your personal fundraising page link as well, so they can donate immediately. Ask 25 friends for $20! Try choosing a different group of 25 friends to target each week. The key is volume. $20 a person adds up quickly.
