Event Details
Arrive at Korean War Veterans Plaza, located at 277 Cadman Plaza West, Brooklyn, NY 11201 at 5:45pm to sign in. Visit https://www.nycgovparks.org/parks/korean-war-veterans-plaza/map to familiarize yourself with the area.
We will promptly start our walk over the Brooklyn Bridge at 6:00pm and loop back around after reaching the halfway point. We will walk back to Brooklyn and end at Korean War Veterans Plaza in Brooklyn to light the flameless candles provided by The Baby Resource Center at 7pm.
If you arrive after we have started the walk, feel free to follow our route half way across the bridge and back to Brooklyn, as we will be walking slowly and taking pictures as we reach the midway point of the bridge.
Virtual Event Details
Create a team to set up a virtual personal fundraising page to help support this cause and/or join us on Facebook LIVE at 7:00pm as we discuss the impact and actions taken to advocate for families affected by pregnancy and loss. Please submit the name of the baby you are honoring or family name (ex. Baby Smith) by 11:59pm on October 23, 2020 to be included in our live commemoration.
