Our district has been promoting acts of kindness in the classroom, home, and in our community. We are always encouraged by the support of the families in our district which is often demonstrated by the kindness of our students.
Please help us reach our goal of raising money to build a safe house for girls in Kenya through Operation Safe Home and this is a wonderful opportunity to extend acts of kindness to a global level. Recently, Operation Safe Home has enlisted the support of a non-profit agency called Durga Tree International to assist in our fundraising efforts, as well as monitor how the money raised by our community is spent.
The Walk for Freedom will be on May 18th and if you are unable to join the walk, please consider sponsoring our team.
I am glad to be walking in the Durga Tree International "Take a Step to Protect" event to help safeguard the world's children.
