2. What Does Pledging to the Run Mean, Exactly?

Your participation in the “Move it for the Music” 5K race or pledge support of racers is a rewarding opportunity to enable deserving young musicians from all over the world to train in Lake Luzerne.

 

LMC aims to provide world-class music instruction for passionate young people in a camp environment regardless of their financial circumstance. Financial aid, and specifically scholarships, is one way for us to ensure that artistic, not financial, concerns remain the focus of our students. Run with us to enable these talented young artists and secure the future of classical music.

 

3. How can my sponsors submit payment?

Online contributions can be made by credit card on your personalized fundraising page. Make sure your sponsors select your name from the list of runners. Sponsors can also mail a check to the address below, and include your name in the memo line

4. Is the 5K only for Runners?

Not at all! The “Move It for the Music” 5K is for individuals at all fitness levels! The race attracts participants from all over the Adirondack region, and although most choose to run or walk the course, family members and friends often come along to enjoy the live music and to support this exciting community event.

 

5. Is there a refund/exchange policy?

Yes. If a donation was made accidentally or for the wrong amount, simply make us aware of the issue and we will be happy to make any necessary refunds, changes or corrections. 

 

Race registration fees are not refundable.

 

6. Is parking available?

Parking is available at the LMC campus. Please arrive before 7:45am if you plan to park on campus. Parking is not guaranteed after 7:45am.
