Does Wizathon allow Individuals to create Teams? 

Yes, Wizathon supports teams. During the setup of your event, you, the administrator, can indicate if you want to allow teams to be setup for your event.  By setting up teams, this does not negate individuals from participating alone (not on a team). Conversely, if a participant signs up to be part of a team, they still point family and friends to the personal fundraising page to raise money individually.  The system will automatically aggregate the amounts raised for all individuals that are members of a team to the total raised for the team. Some studies show that events setup with teams increases the fundraising level.  Wizathon provides a few extra tools, that allow for the administrator to communicate  directly with team leaders and team leaders to communicate with their teams.
